Food for Body Ache

vegetablesDifferent problems cause pain in different body parts and our food plays a vital role in alleviating or aggravating this pain in body, because different food products have different effect on our body. So just by managing and monitoring the food, which we eat, we can treat body pain and get relief from it.



Back Pain:

  • Mix 1 teaspoon lemon juice and 1 teaspoon garlic juice with 2 teaspoon of water and take it in morning and evening for relief in back pain.
  • Methi dana (fenugreek seed): Eat methi dana in morning with warm milk in winters to give relief in gout and back pain. In summers make sprouts of methi dana and then take.
  • Sahjan (drumsticks): Cook sahjan vegetable and eat daily for relief in back pain.
  • Ginger: Add half-teaspoon honey to one teaspoon of ginger juice. Take the mixture in morning on empty stomach for relief in back pain.
  • Jaiphal (Nutmeg): Boil jaiphal (nutmeg) in water and cool down. Massage gently with this water where there is back pain for relief.
  • Chuhara (raisin): Eat chuhara (raisin) in morning on empty stomach for relief in back pain.

Joint Pain:

  • Mix equal quantity of saunth (dry giner) and harad together and grind to make fine powder. Take half teaspoon in morning and evening with warm water.
  • Ajwain: Add ajwain to sesame oil and boil. Massage joints with this oil for pain relief.
  • Ajwain: Take 1 teaspoon of ajwain in powder form and add rock salt to the taste. Take this mixture in morning on empty stomach with warm water.
  • Ajwain: Add 2 teaspoon of ajwain and 2 teaspoon of salt in 2 glasses of water and boil it. When the water is warm, soak a cloth in it and place it on joints.
  • Tea reduces uric acid in blood and gives relief in pain and treat gout.

Arthritis:

  • Methi dana (fenugreek seed): Roast methi dana in cow’s ghee and grind to make powder. Make small laddoos by adding sugar to taste. Eat this laddoo in morning and evening to give relief in arthritis.
  • Add 1 teaspoon of methi dana with 4 teaspoon of tea in 1 glass water. Keep it overnight. In the morning boil it drink the water after straining out the residue.
  • Boil 2 teaspoon of methi dana in 2 cup of water till half water is evaporated. Drink this water after every 2 hours for 1 month for relief in pain and treatment of arthritis.
  • Massage with sesame oil (til) on body parts where arthritis pain is there.
  • Mix saunth (dry ginger) 20 grams, walnuts 40 grams, black sesame seeds 160 grams and grind them and add 100 grams gud (jaggery) to the mixture. Take this mixture 20 grams each in morning and evening with warm water.

Knee Pain:

  • Mash raw potato to make paste. Apply this paste on knee to give relief in pain, swelling and stiffness.
  • Sprouts: Mix sprouts, cow’s ghee and sugar in equal parts and grind to make smooth paste. Cook this paste by adding ghee and make laddoo. Eat one laddoo each in morning on empty stomach.

Thigh Pain:

  • Ginger: Add half-teaspoon cow’s ghee to one teaspoon of ginger juice. Take the mixture in morning on empty stomach for relief in thigh and back pain.
  • Saunth (dry ginger): Boil 10 grams saunth in 100 ml water. On cooling down add sugar to the taste and drink it.
