Warts are viral infection caused by Human papilloma virus (HPV). The virus after getting into body takes upto 3 months before it starts showing as warts. Treatment of warts in Ayurveda takes place on two levels, internally and externally. Medicines like Kaishore Guggul, Kayakalp Vati, Neem Ghanvati, Rakshodhini Vati etc. purifies blood and makes immune system stronger to fight infections and prevent warts in future. For removal of existing warts, external application of Tankan Bhasma is recommended. Make paste of Tankan Bhasma with lemon juice and apply on wart and scrub gently. Do it once a day until the wart is removed.
