ACNE

We all have different skin types, but the only thing common in all the skin types is ACNE. This causes pimples with Redding effect in certain parts of our face. Many women and girls suffering from constant acne spend a bucket full of money on various beauty and skin care products. Some of these may produce a desired effect but that is also for a short period of time. The rest of the products are either ineffective or further damage the area. One needs to follow just some basic hygiene and eat right to get a smooth and glowing skin.

 Below mentioned are some habits which one may ditch to avoid acne on the skin:

1. Diet: Junk foods such as pizza, pasta, burger or other packed foods which are high in refined sugar are the major cause of breakout on the skin. Our eating habits are reflected on our skin and hair. To maintain a healthy glowing skin and to void acne from occurring, one should eat a balanced diet. Don’t frequently opt for food which is harmful not only for the health but also for skin.The main reason behind the occurrence of acne is over production of oil by our skin cells. By feeding our skin more oil we are only speeding up the process of acne. Therefore, one should tilt towards healthy foods, green vegetables and fresh fruits to control acne.

2. Inadequate Water Intake: Drinking around 10-12 glasses of water per day are necessary to maintain the balance of the body fluids. Dead skin cells shed inside the oil glands present in the face and when they are not able to shed properly, the cause blockage causing acne. A hydrated skin will easily be able to shed the dead cells properly without much effort reducing the blockage. By keeping the body hydrated and drinking at least 10 glasses of water every day, we ensure that our body is able to flush out toxins and dead cells easily without disturbing the balance of the body fluids.

3. Touching your Face regularly: When we notice zits and pimples appearing on our skin, we constantly check it in mirror and touch the area to know about the size of the zit. But what we miss is the fact that our hands are home to numerous germs, bacteria and other toxic substances. Our hands are involved in all the activities of our day and thus are open to all sorts of germs. In order to reduce existing acne or the new ones; one should leave their face alone and don’t touch it regularly even while sitting. Touch your face only when necessary and that too with sanitized hands.

4. Continuous face wash: Acne is most common to people with oily skin. The glands present in the skin releases oil at a faster rate which gathers around the nose or on cheeks. To get rid of the oil, one continuously washes their face with soap to become oil free. But this habit only invites more acne. Our face skin needs to be hydrated and moisturized and even some amount of oil is good for face. One can wash their face twice with a mild cleanser. Also spray rose water regularly and wipe it off gently.
